  21. announces ThumbNail, an application for NEXTSTEP developers which
  22. provides a quick bit-per-character view of a lot of code at once,
  23. including searching and highlighting, with direct access to the NeXT
  24. Edit application.

  26. ThumbNail is a neo-classic developer tool. Let's say you have thirty
  27. or forty source files you need to do development or maintenance on.
  28. Zip - load them into ThumbNail! Zap - run some global searches and
  29. with a keystroke weed out the unrelated files! Zoom - click and drag
  30. on the ThumbNail (directly on the bit-per-character image of the code)
  31. and scroll the file directly in Edit. Ever since we wrote it, it's our
  32. source code navigation tool of choice!
